11th July 2018
It’s undeniable that Opus Energy is a business built on its star employees, but for one team member especially, it’s been made official.
Barry Campbell, Head of Business Change at Opus Energy, has been named Shooting Star of the Year at the prestigious Utility Week Star Awards.
Shooting Star of the Year is an award to recognise individuals in the utilities industry who have “made remarkable strides in their career through demonstrating outstanding work and understanding of business needs.”
Barry was nominated for his work in building the Business Change function and absorbing the Project Management team, leading 25 employees to deliver a strategy that helps Opus Energy to continually improve customer satisfaction while delivering on financial targets.
Andy Nash, Director of Business Change and Operations, commented: “Barry’s progress in growing Opus Energy’s Business Change function, while absorbing Project Management Office, has been of huge benefit to the business.”
“He’s show clear career drive and progression in a way that has made him stand out from the crowd, and has proved himself to be a valuable asset to Opus Energy,” Nash concluded.
Barry was one of three Opus Energy employees who made the shortlist – including Jessica Smith (Billing Performance Manager), nominated for her outstanding progression and initiative, and Nat Masters (Process Specialist) who was nominated in the Supernova category after an impressive 14 years of sterling work at Opus Energy.
It goes without saying that everyone at Opus Energy is delighted for our esteemed team members! Together, we continue working hard to energise British businesses and deliver customer service that is second to none.
