Opus Energy surges to #6 in Sunday Times Top Track 250
3rd October 2016
Last year, we were thrilled to see Opus Energy move up 20 places to #19 in the 2015 Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250. However that pales in comparison to this year’s result, as the news has broken that Opus Energy is ranked at #6!
We’re elated to not only have outdone ourselves for yet another year, but to have also placed in the top ten – putting Opus Energy above household names such as McLaren Automotive, Caffe Nero, Travelodge, Kurt Geiger and Arsenal Football Club.
The Top Track 250 is a league table ranking mid-market private companies based on their sales, published by the Sunday Times on 2nd October 2016 and compiled by Fast Track, a research company that ranks the best-performing and fastest-growing companies in the UK.
Thanks to our offering of competitive products and our trustworthy customer service, over 1,500 small business customers join Opus Energy every week, and 91% of our customers choose to renew their contracts. This has no doubt secured our place of pride, not to mention helping us become the sixth largest business energy supplier in the UK.
Louise Boland, Managing Director of Opus Energy, commented: “We are delighted to have again secured a place in the prestigious Top Track 250 list. Fourteen years ago, we were a start-up with ten employees; we’re now the sixth largest business energy supplier in the UK and are ranking at the top of the table.
“This latest placement is a reflection of the hard work we put into making sure we offer our customers competitive products and great service, providing a real alternative to the traditional energy suppliers.”
It’s also been a great year for Opus Energy as an employer, as we once again achieved star status in the Best Companies guide thanks to commitment to creating a positive working environment and comprehensive employee benefits.
