Green Deal
The Green Deal was a government-backed scheme which aimed to help businesses across the UK benefit from affordable energy-saving improvements. Government funding is no longer available, but you may still be able to obtain Green Deal funding from providers who are self-financing.
If you have already applied to the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund then you are not affected but need to ensure that you get the work done and redeem your voucher before it expires.
How does it work?
As a participating electricity supplier, Opus Energy is authorised to collect the monthly instalments due under the contract made between you and your chosen Green Deal provider. The Green Deal monthly payment is clearly marked as a separate item on the monthly invoice sent by us, and once the payment is received, we will remit this back to your Green Deal provider.
